Hey! I'm so glad you're here! Pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee or whatever you prefer and make yourself comfortable. I hope you enjoy your visit. If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for stopping by!
I haven’t done a Reading List in quite a while, so here’s a new one. It’s books I’m currently reading as well as those I’ve read before that I really enjoyed. Rather than a list style like I normally post, I’ve decided to use Amazon’s carousel widget. Let me know if you have trouble with it.
Make $10k in a weekend - “Too good to be true.” That’s the first thing I said when
I heard of http://tinyurl.com/5lq2g4. You can’t REALLY make $10K in a weekend. But I quickly bit my tongue once I saw the content. . .

Coming up later, I’ve got a post on a great article I read today about customer service. You know the old adage “the customer is always right?” Well, new thought shows how untrue and how damaging to customer service this line of thinking really is. So check back later today for that article. Better yet, why not subscribe to the RSS so you get updates as soon as they’re posted?
Also, check out some of the recent posts on my other sites -
And lastly, if you’ve read any of the above books, I’d love to know your thoughts. Please feel free to post in the comments. I’ve heard positive things so far about Good to Great and The One Day Marketing Plan.
Oh - one question - although I post the Reading List weekly usually, I’ve not really done any reviews of the books I’ve read. Would you like to see that here? If so, again let me know in the comments. Of course, you’re always welcome to send me an email too. Either way, don’t be shy!
And there’s actually a couple more but I’m leaving them for next week. I’m also continuing my study of “A New Earth” by Eckhart Tolle. I really enjoyed the webcast he and Oprah held this past Monday. Can’t wait for the next one on March 10th.
Have a great weekend! It’s my husband’s birthday Saturday, so I don’t know how much I’ll be around but expect lots of news next week.
Jazz Festival, Part 2 by Annie I had planned to take lots of pictures yesterday but unfortunately, they would not allow cameras into the venue so I didn't get any (other than 2 I snuck of Wayman Tisdale with my mom's phone) so I grabbed a couple pics from the artists' websites for you.
Wandering thoughts of gardens, kids and school clothes by Annie I don't really have anything planned for this post so I apologize in advance if it ends up wandering all over the place!
The kids and I were able to spend some time outside today in the garden.
Plans & Goals 2008 by Annie Since I haven't updated here in a while, I thought I'd make my first post of 2008 one about my plans and goals for the year.
Time for pictures by Annie Now that I've got a more powerful camera, it's time for pictures! I'm going to be posting some pictures of lots of different things - from cats to cows to flowers to mountains to food and anything else I decide to capture.
