Welcome back! Coffee's always on around here. Pull up your favorite chair and a grab a cup. Enjoy your visit today! And don't forget to stop back by again soon.
Well, if I continue to be sick, losing weight should be a piece of cake, right? LOL
I’ve had a horrid sinus cold for the better part of a week now and as of Saturday, have completely lost my voice. It’s not very fun and my throat hurts like hell. Swallowing is almost impossible.
But the kids sure do like the fact that mom can’t talk!
Needless to say then, I have hardly eaten anything.
And I have no idea how much I weigh because the scale is in one of those boxes in the basement that has yet to make it’s way to a usable place in the house.
My husband had four days off work and I think the only thing he helped with was a load of laundry yesterday, taking The Teenager to a friends house yesterday afternoon and getting me some Sprite. I don’t know why he can’t take it upon himself to ask what needs to happen and then do it. He knows moving boxes, furniture and the like is not something my back is capable of.
Ok – sorry for the rant.
Aside from being unable to really eat anything, I also had one heck of a time getting the kids woken up for school today since they couldn’t hear me talking to them. Fortunately gramma was still home and was able to help me get them up or they’d have missed their busses for sure.
And no, you can’t just shake them awake or something. Not if you value your life. They’re all like me in that regard.
Touch me while I’m sleeping and you’re liable to get punched somewhere it will hurt very badly.
Anyway, all of this to say, The Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans December Challenge kicked off today and I’m off to a great (?) start.
Oh – and if you happened upon the blog earlier and got some weird notice that there was no content here, I apologize. Apparently my host was having some server issues and then when everything came back up, it had messed up my database. I ran a repair utility on it and thankfully, it all came back just fine.
Thanks for sticking with me!
In the arena,

It’s time for Christmas music! My favorite music of all!
