Exciting Things Happening!
This week is going to bring many changes across the board on nearly all of my sites. As I gear up to really take my businesses to the next level, I will be getting everything aligned for ease, stability and optimum performance. That means there will be some really exciting things happening.
Many of you have seen my artwork in various places including my .Mac webpage, where I have a gallery of images I’ve created – most notably, the original Mandala collection. Feel free to stop by there and take a look at those if you haven’t already. And look for some additional designs coming very soon. Just remember, those images are copyrighted material and you may not download or use them without permission.
Recently, I’ve had several inquiries as to what I charge for designing logos, business cards and book covers. To date, I have not ever had that information on my websites (because each project is different) but I will be posting some very general guidelines as to pricing in the near future to help those seeking that information.
And along those same lines, I’ve had lots of questions regarding my writing services. I’m very pleased that the updated Write Point website will be completed very soon – it’s coming along nicely. Again, I’ve not had any pricing guidelines there but I will be adding some basic fees to that site as well.
There are also many new things coming for my Real Estate Investing adventures as well including a launch of the brand new paperback version of my Real Estate Research Basics book. So, keep your eye out for that. It promises to very exciting indeed! And I can’t wait to share it with you.
If there is something you’d like to see or you have any questions or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to send me a note.
Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your day and I’ll talk to you again soon!

Sponsor this blog!Membership Site News & Other Updates
About a year ago, I started a membership site for real estate investors and those interested in learning about investing. However, it hasn’t done very well. Mostly because I just have not had the time to devote to it that I really need.
The good news is that now that my first REI book has come out in paperback form, I have some additional incentive to do something with the site. So, my ideas are being solidified and outlined into a tangible schedule that I will be implementing to get the site up and fully running. That’s my agenda for this weekend.
So, look for a post here next week when I’ve got everything set up. You’ll be able to find updates about all of my ongoing projects here, eventually.
Also coming next week will be some additional pages on this site about various aspects of my business. If you have any thoughts or ideas as to what that should entail, please drop me a note via email or post a comment right here.
By for now!

Welcome!
This blog and website are where I’ll be posting things that are relevant to all of my on-going projects, thoughts, ideas and whatever else comes to mind. You’ll find links to my other websites, projects, clients I’ve worked with and sites I like and recommend.
Since August 1, 2007 I’ve been working on The Thirty Day Challenge hosted by Ed Dale and Dan Raine. Now that it has ended, I’ll be working on this site as well as some of the sites I’ve been created during the challenge. Of course, I’ll still be freelancing and doing all the things I normally do, too.
School is starting next week for the kids and although we’ve homeschooled for the last 4 years, my oldest daughter who is entering 8th grade wants to go back to public school and as hard as the decision has been for my husband and I, I think we’re going to let her. I’m not sure about the younger kids, though. I think I’ll keep them home one more year and maybe send the oldest boy, who will be 5th grade next year, at that time. We’ll see how the 8th grader does this year.
Anyway, end of summer this weekend so we’re going to enjoy it!
Talk soon!

Mandala's & Some Other News
I’ve been experimenting with creating digital art and have made several mandala type designs which I’ve posted for your perusal over at ASAdesign. There will be more posted in the near future but do please go take a look at them now and bookmark it
so you can check back again.
After several long weeks of soul-searching, I’ve decided to resign from the Real Estate business (other than writing about it or creating artwork for others in the profession) and focus on what really “lights my fire” – writing and design. Real Estate has been a wonderful career path for me and I have learned a lot in many areas including customer service, negotiation skills, and even writing skills. But the time has come for me to move on to do the work that is my life path – ultimately, that is to help others. The two mediums that best express that ideal for me are writing and design.
I will continue to provide relevant information on the REI industry as well as articles and such to help those now embarking down that path to make the most of the career they’ve chosen. It is a very lucrative career and I have enjoyed every moment of it. If it’s something you feel the desire to do, please, by all means – follow it and feel free to write me with questions you may have about foreclosure investing or investing in general. I will do my best, as always, to respond to them.
So – for now, though, stop listening to me ramble on and please go check out ASAdesign.
And then, come back here tomorrow for another Reading List.
Blessings,
Annie
PS – Here’s a taste of what you’ll find over at ASAdesign . . .
Sponsor this blog!Reminder
Just wanted to remind you what all is available to you on this blog.
You’ll notice several tabs above. Each one contains a description of what I do and who I am – each of the “hats” I wear, if you will.
But what I wanted to point out to you right now is the Articles. Yes, they’re buried in there! And I do need to update them however, there are some really nice ones there right now. Perhaps you’ve forgotten about them or didn’t know they were there.
You can either click the “freelance” tab, then select the “my writing” link from the Subpages heading in the right sidebar and from there select “articles” or you can take this shortcut.
Hope you enjoy them! Please feel free to comment on them. And please feel free to check around the site and look at all the stuff here! Like I said earlier, you didn’t come here accident and there may be something within these pages that is just what you need right now.
Blessings,
Annie

Summer in Seattle . . . Finally
Welcome back! Coffee's always on around here. Pull up your favorite chair and a grab a cup. Enjoy your visit today! And don't forget to stop back by again soon.
We’re finally experiencing some summer here in Seattle. Actually, we’ve had nice weather for about a week and a half . . . but, you never know how long it’s going to last so I didn’t want to shout HOORAY!! too soon. I think it’s safe to mention it now, though.
This past weekend was a bit too hot for me – in the 90’s. Thank goodness it doesn’t happen often or regularly in this neck of the woods. Today it’s a respectable 68 with a high of 73 expected. That’s about perfect for me.
Anyway, lots of things happening lately and lots more coming so I wanted to drop by and let you know what to expect over the next several weeks on this blog. For starters, I’ve got some posts on various writing topics coming up as well as some basics on such things as business plans, marketing ideas, and other strategies.
I also want to announce that I’ll be updating my real estate book soon and the 2nd edition should be ready on Amazon.com by September (I hope). It usually take about 3 weeks from the final publishing phase before it’s available through the distributor and thus listed on Amazon. I’ll let you know when as soon as possible.
There will also be some web-related stuff available that you’ll get access to through the book. I’ll tell you more about that as well, as publication gets closer.
So, if you’re a writer or into real estate investing or know someone who is, keep an eye out here for updates. I’ll also be including some new free ebooks and other stuff. Oh – and Friday is, of course, Independence Day here in the US and I’ll be making some desktop backgrounds and other graphics for the occasion. When they’re ready, I’ll post them here for you to download free.
I have more but don’t want to overwhelm you so I’ll keep it short for now. And besides – the kids are outside playing in the sprinkler and I’ve got to go help my husband finish building the new gates for our driveway.
Should be fun!
In the arena,
