    You're most welcome! I enjoyed your blog very much.

    I know what you mean with the garden! Last year was the first we really got to plant anything and I had managed to begin a pretty nice looking flower bed.

    But . . . the soil isn't very good so I've had trouble keeping things that I actually planted in the ground healthy. I'm getting ready to put some good soil down along with some mulch. Fortunately, most of my plants are in pots as I really enjoy container gardening and being able to move things around the yard. And . . . I knew the soil needed some help. Next year it should be recovered enough to do what I really want to do with it.

    My roses, Rose of Sharon Hibiscus and my Rhododendron are all doing pretty good. I have a Japanese Maple sapling that's not doing too badly and my herbs and lavender are doing really well.

    We had such a late start to decent weather in the Seattle area this year, that I didn't get a vegetable garden planted but the apple and cherry trees are producing some lovely fruit.

    Thanks for saying hello. I'm glad you enjoyed the flowers. I certainly enjoy growing and photographing them :) Good luck with your garden. Mine takes lots of work, but it's a labor of love, and the results are very satisfying. It sounds to me like you're a busy person, so I hope you can find the time to squeeze in some gardening. It's great therapy and exercise :)
