This website is a mish-mash of things and passions, including everything from writing to graphic design to family to real estate to politics and possibly – quite possibly – everything in between.

It’s meant to be a place to share and to explore the world around us. To think outside the box. And to bring interesting topics to the forefront. A place where people from all walks of life and a variety of perspectives can learn and teach and find common ground.

Annie Anderson | Blog was launched in September of 2007 in it’s current incarnation and aspires to reach like-minded souls across the miles.

Who is Annie Anderson?

Simply, the author of this blog. I also write at The Weight Loss Papers, Beyond Real Estate and Margin of Error, among others. I’ve been Stumbled and Dugg once or twice. And my articles have been published at Ezine Articles and other places around the web. (If you like my style, you can hire me to write for you too.)

As a former real estate agent and an investor, I have written a couple of books on real estate (available at Amazon.com), have taught and run seminars and online classes about real estate and investing as well as helped support other agents/investors as an admin assistant, transaction coordinator and skiptrace/researcher. In short, if it deals with real estate, I’ve probably been involved with it in one way or another. I’m even listed in Biltmore’s “Who Who: Women in Business.”

But my biggest professional passions are writing and graphic design. These are the things engraved within my soul. I’ve pretty much been writing since I learned to hold a pencil. And as a result, I’ve received numerous awards for poetry and short stories. I have taken classes at artist retreats, workshops and am an alumni of the Longridge Writer’s Group writing course.

I began my love affair with graphic design in high school, purely by accident. Mostly as the result of seriously injuring my writing/drawing arm in a bicycle mishap and the likelihood that I may never draw again. And also because I had too many high school credits and was therefore allowed to begin college courses during my junior and senior years. I graduated high school with an AA Graphics and am currently finishing up my Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute.

Writing to me is a release. It’s a peek into my soul that not too many people really ever get to see. I’m rather introverted, and yet opinionated, which at times collide and become the pages and posts of this website. It’s my attempt to make some sense out of this world we share and hopefully, in the process, make some sense out of it for you  too.

Additionally, I enjoy music, family, the ocean, lighthouses, cats, bicycling, hiking, gardening, cooking, computers (especially Mac), personal development, books and making things. I’m spiritually minded, am an ordained minister and a life coach and enjoy helping people. I’m also a level II Reiki practitioner.

My personal mission is to “use my compassion, writing and intuitive gifts to inspire others to reach their full potential and discover their Personal Power.”
