Go figure

Even though I’ve been sick with a sinus infection this past week, it seems I’ve actually gotten more work done than usual. It’s unbelievable that I feel miserable, my nose is congested, head all stuffy and foggy and yet I’ve accomplished more in the past week than I had in the last two months. Go figure. ;-)

So, on the agenda next is the development of a couple of new products. I’m not going to share what they are just yet but they are already in the works and I expect to have them nearly completed by mid-March.

The Reading List for this week and a special Valentine’s message tomorrow. See ya then!

The Giants Have It!

You might not know, but I’m not a very big football fan. In fact, I only watch maybe 2 or 3 games a year. Now, my husband enjoys a good ball game but thankfully he’s not obsessive about it. Except on Super Bowl Sunday.

Yep. Definitely a day in our house where papa gets to hog the TV. And thanks to a fabulous email I received early this afternoon, he got to watch it on a big screen! What a day! And to top it off, the team he’s rooting for wins!

He predicted the outcome days ago. Although he was a bit off on the spread, he pegged the Giants to win. And you know, I actually watched the game! Nice to watch such stuff on a big screen. I did think the half time show was a bit short, though. But boy, Tom Petty sure can rock, can’t he? He played some good classics and we enjoyed it. Wish it had been a bit longer.

Anyway, the day is winding down and I’m listening to Kelly Clarkson, who is one of my favorite singers, by the way. She has a great voice, an awesome vocal range and her songs actually have some meaning. Maybe she’ll be the half time show sometime. THAT would be sweet!

In fact, here’s a video of one her best songs . . .

Plans & Goals 2008

Since I haven’t updated here in a while, I thought I’d make my first post of 2008 one about my plans and goals for the year.

In 2008, I plan to:

  • Lose weight, get fit and healthy
  • Put my writing biz on overdrive
  • Make a minimum of $10k per month
  • Take my family on a vacation
  • Finish my first of year of the Bachelor’s program with a GPA of 3.5 or better
  • Replace my aging vehicle

And that’s the tip of the iceberg. There are some smaller goals and plans in between those and of course, most of those fit into the grand plan somewhere.

What are your plans and goals for 2008? Feel free to post a note in the comments or write a post on your own blog with a link back here. Just remember that whatever you do, make it fun!
