New Free Report

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

One of the updates I’ve been working on is finally ready.

You’ll notice at the top of the site, there is a new link called “Report” and if you click on it, you’ll be able to receive my brand new free report called “Overcome Writer’s Block.” It’s 11 pages of tips for helping writers get through writers block and simple steps you can take to ensure it doesn’t happen to you.

Now, there’s nothing secret about this report. Nor is there anything earth-shattering. But, they are great tips I’ve gotten rave reviews on and so I decided to put it together in a special report for whomever wants it.

So - go to the link above now, enter your name and email address and you’ll receive an email shortly with the download link and password you’ll need to access the report. It’s in PDF form, so you’ll need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view it.

I hope you enjoy the report! There’s also a special bonus inside. Be sure to read the entire report right away to take advantage of it.

And keep a lookout right here for more new stuff coming very soon!

Exciting Things Happening!

This week is going to bring many changes across the board on nearly all of my sites. As I gear up to really take my businesses to the next level, I will be getting everything aligned for ease, stability and optimum performance. That means there will be some really exciting things happening.

Many of you have seen my artwork in various places including my .Mac webpage, where I have a gallery of images I’ve created - most notably, the original Mandala collection. Feel free to stop by there and take a look at those if you haven’t already. And look for some additional designs coming very soon. Just remember, those images are copyrighted material and you may not download or use them without permission.

Recently, I’ve had several inquiries as to what I charge for designing logos, business cards and book covers. To date, I have not ever had that information on my websites (because each project is different) but I will be posting some very general guidelines as to pricing in the near future to help those seeking that information.

And along those same lines, I’ve had lots of questions regarding my writing services. I’m very pleased that the updated Write Point website will be completed very soon - it’s coming along nicely. Again, I’ve not had any pricing guidelines there but I will be adding some basic fees to that site as well.

There are also many new things coming for my Real Estate Investing adventures as well including a launch of the brand new paperback version of my Real Estate Research Basics book. So, keep your eye out for that. It promises to very exciting indeed! And I can’t wait to share it with you.

If there is something you’d like to see or you have any questions or suggestions, please don’t hesitate to send me a note.

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your day and I’ll talk to you again soon!

Membership Site News & Other Updates

About a year ago, I started a membership site for real estate investors and those interested in learning about investing. However, it hasn’t done very well. Mostly because I just have not had the time to devote to it that I really need.

The good news is that now that my first REI book has come out in paperback form, I have some additional incentive to do something with the site. So, my ideas are being solidified and outlined into a tangible schedule that I will be implementing to get the site up and fully running. That’s my agenda for this weekend.

So, look for a post here next week when I’ve got everything set up. You’ll be able to find updates about all of my ongoing projects here, eventually.

Also coming next week will be some additional pages on this site about various aspects of my business. If you have any thoughts or ideas as to what that should entail, please drop me a note via email or post a comment right here.

By for now!

Summer is Over

This week marks the beginning of school again and signifies that summer is officially over.

And, if you’ll remember, a couple of days ago I mentioned my oldest daughter wants to go back to school. Even though we’ve decided to let her, I’m a little worried about that. So we came up with a plan for this year to ease her back into school.

The co-op. Our school district has a homeschool co-op where the kids go a couple times a week to classes and the rest of the time, they’re at home, just like traditional homeschool. It would give her an opportunity to “go to school” and to meet other kids, get involved in stuff and yet not expect her to be up every morning of the week adhering to rigid school rules (and schedules) that she’s not used to. Then next year, if she really wants to, we’ll transition to regular public school again.

She likes this idea. And I’m glad. It was a little stressful for me the last several weeks discussing public school and all that entails. I’m happy this idea is workable for her. Honestly, I think she’ll do much better doing it this way than just shoving back in. I mean, she hasn’t been to a regular classroom since 3rd grade! That is quite a long time. Besides, next year will be her first year of high school and there’s a newer school in our district that is an arts high school. Since she’s interested in music and drama and all that stuff, it sounds like just the place for her. The class sizes are smaller and that’s certainly a bonus.

So - how is your end of summer/beginning of school going?

Welcome!

This blog and website are where I’ll be posting things that are relevant to all of my on-going projects, thoughts, ideas and whatever else comes to mind. You’ll find links to my other websites, projects, clients I’ve worked with and sites I like and recommend.

Since August 1, 2007 I’ve been working on The Thirty Day Challenge hosted by Ed Dale and Dan Raine. Now that it has ended, I’ll be working on this site as well as some of the sites I’ve been created during the challenge. Of course, I’ll still be freelancing and doing all the things I normally do, too.

School is starting next week for the kids and although we’ve homeschooled for the last 4 years, my oldest daughter who is entering 8th grade wants to go back to public school and as hard as the decision has been for my husband and I, I think we’re going to let her. I’m not sure about the younger kids, though. I think I’ll keep them home one more year and maybe send the oldest boy, who will be 5th grade next year, at that time. We’ll see how the 8th grader does this year.

Anyway, end of summer this weekend so we’re going to enjoy it!

Talk soon!
